Running Accomplishments:

I have been running for several years mainly for weight loss purposes.  I have run many 10k and 5k races.  My personal best time for 10k is 59:57.

I have also successfully completed the Top of Utah Marathon back in 2003.  That was a great day!!

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to possible train for an run a half marathon and also be able to better my PR at 10k racing.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Long-term I would like to develop a passion for running that will help me keep the weight off that I have worked so hard to get off.  I would also like to be able to run consistent eight minute miles and possible medal in my age division.

I would also like to try a triathalon.

Personal:

I am married with four kids.  I enjoy playing the piano and signing in choirs.

It has been a crazy month so far and I haven't been running like I should be.  It felt good today to finally get out and do some running.  I think that it is a definitely a stress reliever for me.  I don't know about the rest of others but the problem is that when I get really busy and stressed out, the last thing I want to do is run.  However, after I do, I always feel so much better.
